PSXeven crashes

using PSXeven v0.17b
the plugins and bios from epsxe folders work fine
extracted fresh copy from the zip file
and yet it still crashes

i would show u the report that windows made, but can't find the log file

anyways do you know what's happening?
is it time for me to stop using psxeven? =|
