Valkyrie Profile configuration profile (pun intended)

Hello.

Can someone please post a working plugin configuration for Valkyrie Profile?

I'm using the latest PSXEven (0.17b), and trying to use PEOpS plugins for both GPU and SPU.

I've checked the special fix flag in the SPU for VP, and am using an iso of the game, but I get these problems:

Voices plays weird. It's as if the voice comes out a tad slower than it should be, plus there is some degree of noise (crackles of sorts) to it.
Also, sometimes when a voice has finished playing, it will "wrap around" and start playing it from the beginning for a second or two.
Sometimes during dialogs, the game will freeze. It is not a crash, because I can still view the dialog log, but I cannot continue playing.

Please help! I've read many posts stating that the game is fully playable with PSXEven... so there must be a solution!

My specs:
Athlon 900
GeForce 2 GTS
256MB SDRAM

i haven't got valkyrie profile myself, so i am not sure it helps, but using eternal spu sound plugin sometimes works wonders. i've had some freezes in dragon quest and other games and many games with strange sound with peops spu, but everything works great with eternal spu.

i play with espxe 1.5.2 the game play good but there are freeze on dialog and in the chapter 8 the game freeze cos there a lot of dialog.
i dont know what to do?

why are you still using epsxe 1.5.2?
try with epsxe 1.6.0 and the newest plugins. i would recommend pete's opengl or directx and eternal spu for sound. also try making an iso of your game discs, because maybe there are some problems reading directly from the disc.
