does ff8 work well with psxeven?

im about to start playing ff8 using these psx emulators...... and was wondering if it work well with psxeven? i tried running ff8 on epsxe and psxeven and and they seemed to be working fine in the beginning but i dont want to have any trouble in later of the game that would result in starting all over with a different emulator.......................... i personally like psxven better but on which emulator does it runs the best?
