mdecs in psxeven faster than normal

hmm k don´t know if this was answered before i tried searching but couldn't find any thread about it.

i decided to give ps7 a try too see what's all about hehe was very very happy with it until i noticed that in mdecs the sound has a higher pitch and plays faster than normal, as if the mdec itself is playing faster, using default plugins with default settings.
tried the same with epsxe same settings and plugins and the video played normally.
tried turning off the "change XA speed" then the sound would be kinda skipping as if played faster than it should.

what could it be?

well i think someone mentioned that the sound isnt perfect in the emulator yet, but that is weird that the movie is running faster too. try setting the fps limit to 60 fps for ntsc games and 50 for pal. it might make it work better, or it might make it worse, but its worth trying.

i already tried this , did nothing

well if it's a emu thing then i'll just wait hehe, meanwhile i can happilly play xenogears, i won't see many fmvs in it hehe

if you are having problems with sound, and you are using eternal SPU, make sure you have wait for XA free turned on. This should fix some of the speed problems your having
