PSXeven Question and a suggestion
How come when I change plugins, all of my savestates disappear? For example, if I change from Pete's DSound to Eternal, all the savestates I made with games using Pete's DSound disappear.
 And for the suggestion, I hope you can also make the Memcard Manager to import memcards from ePSXe's .mcr format. It seems to support only Dexdrive and VGS memcard formats for now.

1. that's just plain weird. I've tried it just now, doesnt seem to happen. Are there anything else you're doing besides that?
2. The memcard manager inherently supports .mcr, that's why when you click on "Browse" in the memcard manager you'll see that you can chose between -> "Memcard (*.mcr, *.mcd, *.mc, *.ddf)". "mcr" and "mcd" formats are one and the same. Use the "Browse" button instead of the "Import" button which will import vgs/dexdrive saves

Hmm, well, if it helps, this is the System.cnf of Tokimemo (yep, that's the game I'm having trouble with):
BOOT = cdrom:PSX.EXE;1 TCB = 8 EVENT = 32 STACK = 801FFF00 Will try to do a bit more investigating later. btw thanks for the ePSXe memcard tip. :embl:

Ok here's what's happening:
1. I run PSXeven. Checking the plugins, I see that I'm using DSound. Alright. 2. I run Tokimemo, make a couple savestates of the title screen. I check the debug window. I see that it makes a savestate named "ªdõwˆ.000","ªdõwˆ.001","ªdõwˆ.002", etc. 3. I exit PSXeven. I change it to Eternal 1.3. Run PSXeven again. 4. I run through my savestates using F2. NONE of the savestates that I made using the DSound plugin appear on the little savestate preview window. So I make a couple more of the savestates from a different location, like say the name input screen. This time it makes some savestates named "n~õwô.000","n~õwô.001","n~õwô.002", etc. as indicated on the debug window. 5. I exit the emu again, switch back to DSound, and run Tokimemo again. The savestates that I made using the DSound plugin reappear on the savestate preview windows, and the savestates that I made using Eternal "disappear". The savestates are not exactly "disappearing" as in deleted, but rather they don't show up on the savestate preview windows. Here's a pic of the different savestates this game made. I suspect it has something to do with the game being Japanese and all that, and possibly because the system.cnf points to a PSX.exe? Well let's try a US NTSC game here... hmm... where can my english games be? All I have here are japanese imports :embl: Aha, here we go, BoF4... tried running it, and it labeled the savestate according to its game ID (SLUS_013.24.004).

I replaced my PSXeven 1.4 exe with the exe for 1.5, but then my savestates don't show up again! Man, I was that close to the end... guess I better go get a copy of 1.4 for a while... 'twas a bad idea to delete it without a backup.
