Question PSXeven Discontinued?

Why would Xeven discontinue this great emulator? He said "but what do i get in return? crap.. nothing but crap.. not even a hint of respect" WHAT?

Every person that posted about PSXeven said nothing but good thing's about it and how it's progressing fast. What a shame for Xeven to think this way, I definitly thought it was great.

Oh yes I totally agree, I just wanted him to know that if he's stoping the project because no one respect's his work then he's wrong. (no offense intended)

Well I didn't vote cuz I'm not sure. But from what I heard of people saying this sounds like a great emu. I think Xeven wants more from it though than just complaints and *****ing. I get what he's saying. It happened to me and still does. when u work so hard for something and people ***** about it. but sometimes you just got to get over that and go on.

sorry i cannot vote on this one cause i actually didn't have time to test it, but i would likely be glad if this emu continues, especially because xeven is from our place and i am proud of it!

as i searched the forums, i didnt saw any bad comments about his work instead all of them are praises (if not, mostly), so i have no clue why xeven reacted that way..

I really didn't want this to happen, but I have to stand with Xeven on his decision. I'm still woundering how many emulators is it going to take to get it through these lamers thick skulls.

Xeven did a great work. Man... even Hokuto no Ken 2 works on PSXeven, how many emulator can run it?

I think he should continue his project, and I hope he turns back on his decision.

This is absolutely crazy Xeven. Please don't stop the work on it. I'm not sure if it's because you think we don't appreciate it or if you just decided to forget about it but either way your emu is in many ways superior to Epsxe. First of all the whole interface is genius, just one click to change my video settings etc. And second, my favorite part, in PSXeven after changing settings you don't have to restart the emu, also when changing games. It’s such a pain in Epsxe when I'm testing different plugins to have to restart every single time I want to change the slightest damn thing.
So Xeven, Please, if you'd reconsider this I would greatly appreciate it.

Your Biggest Emu Fan,
Vio

Violineb I know epsxe says u must restart but really you dont.

I havent played many psx games in the last few months so I havent tried Xevens emu but I was keeping it in mind and was going to try it out when I had the time, its seems a pity its just going to be a closed project now

The emu is really good, It play's games that ePSXe gives me problems with. The interface is awesome and as an added bonus you can make your own skins. It's the fastest progressing emu i'v seen.

Definitly could have been revolutionary

well seeing the way he announced it i think he wants to stop becuz he doesnt get respect from others. but im pretty sure that Xeven knows that all NGEmu members respects him alot. so i really dont know why he would stop.......anyway i think ill start sending positive messages to Emu,plugins,etc.. authors just to rule out a bad message

Unhappy

Best bet right now is to just leave Xeven alone for a while and let him decide what he really wants to do. If this is the way it ends up, then, sad but true, so be it. It is Xeven's choice and his emu so the final and ultimate decision is his.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Well those who bug Xeven and bomb him with hate or complaint mail are not true emulation fan's. If they had any brains they would know how hard it is to code something like an emulator. And just sit back and wait for good releases.

I could understand Xeven just giving the emulator to his true friends.

(d@mn those hate mailing ba$tards)
