arc the lad three (arc the lad collection) has some weird disc change problems. none of the other emulators yet support this.
from what i've heard it doesnt have a save game at the end of disk one and it won't swich discs for some reason either. i have the game but i just havent gotten this far yet. if you search the epsxe threads you'll probably get a better answer than mine. |

I indeed mean a change disc, the game use a unusual way from disc 1 to disc 2. In this game, the save is done before a movie sequence, then, the disc change. There isn't any emulator that do support that yet, i've tested them all. As far as i know, when it come to the change disc sequence, the game 'freeze', music still goes on, but nothing else work (reset shortcut for instance).
This game is really good, not as good as arc the lad 1+2, but still one of the best psx tactical rpg (not a match for final fantasy tactics nor tactics ogre battle though). If you need savegame, i can send mine, If you need the game, i can help too, but considering my upload speed, emule might be a far better way. Thanks. May the light shine upon your way
