controller issues

I have everything except my game pad working. I'm using a PS2 controller with a usb converter. It works fine for my snes emu, but PSXEven won't recognize it. I tried putting harakiri and ssspsx pad plugin in the plugin folder but got nothing it just reads the original pod controls which is for the keyboard.

I have ePSXe as well, but I have the same problem. BIOS, Graphics, and sound are all check. I just can't get my usb PS2 controller to register with either.

I remember one of my old controllers not working right in ePSXe unless I went into Windows' game controller settings and messed with the joysticks and d-pad there.

Be sure analog is turned on.
