I'm back!
For the last couple of month's I've been having major problems with PS1 emulation, so I've been playing with my GC and other stuff (see sig too). Now I have finally got off my lazy butt and formatted my HD and put XP on it, things are working again. Good to see there are still PS1 screenshots being posted on this forum. So I just got this game from Wal-Mart for Canadian $9. One word: stunning. This has got to be the best looking Playstation game I ever played. And possibly the best Alien licensed game I've played too. The atmosphere is very Alien, the visual design matches the Resurrection movie very well. Little details such as lights above the cell's glass ceiling, and smoke jetting out of walls, are just incredible. Granted, the soldiers look dated, but hopefully the rest of the games will be fighting aliens and not humans. I've only played a small part from the beginning, so stay tuned for more shots later ![]() Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.5 Author: Pete Bernert Card vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. mmm, I can't really comment on gameplay fairly because I'm not used to gamepad for FPS. Altho it does have mouse support and I could use keyboard and mouse combo through the emulation, I just haven't spent the time to try that yet.
But so far my impressions are good. The level design is nice, and the action is satisfactory. There's even headshots.

ok talking about it made me play more, haha
i finally got thru the first stage (which had one save point in the middle I could find). Interesting tiny twist on storyline here, as Ripley comm to another character "Call" and now I'm playing as her instead. Sort of takes you to a different part of the area with a convincing transition. More nice level design and more variety. A few aliens flying thru the place really freaks me out. Sorry couldn't catch them on screenshots because I had no finger to spare when an alien comes and attack. p.s. Green hud is playing as Ripley; silver hud is as Call.

Looks sweet. How are the framerates? I don't mean your computer, but it looks like the PS itself may chug a little when playing a game like that.

Don't mean to revive an old thread like this, but I just found some "left over" screenies I didn't post 4 months ago, haha. I probably didn't post them because there were just three and I wanted to collect more shots, which never happened
![]() I might pick this game up again once I get my media box setup, with the old Voodoo3 hehehe. So maybe we can compare Lewpy shots with these next time

Thx guys
![]() btw, I got my media box up and running. Altho the K6-2 is quite slow and I get bad framerates every time the voice loads (you know, the announcement voice like "all personel evacuate immediately", "something deactivated", blah blah) Noticed another thing... the dead human bodies make a blood splat around the place everytime I shoot at them. I guess the aliens would make a yellow green splat. I'll post some lewpy screenies at 640x480, some day, maybe

Wicked. Looking good
The first shots look the best IMO.

I have this game as well. It is alot of fun, and quite scary. To answer some of the questions, the game does not chug..on the PSX or the PC via ePSXe etc.. on the other hand, it runs EXTREMELY smooth...something I never thought the PSX could do...it's a first person shooter, with the smoothness of Tekken 3!
It is a brilliant game...and looks even better on the PC! r2rX

hey, in that case, r2rx post some shots
![]() people are generally forgetting how good PSX emulation was and still is (I can't repeat enough times, this whole site started as psxemu.com). and posting more shots of good looking games would be one way to keep people interested.
