Post Armored Core

Who likes controlling mechas?

Now you can with this game.

Shoji Kawamori, the mechanical designer for Macross and Macross Plus did the designs for the game mechas.

Though I found the camera and controls maybe difficult to use at first.

You can customize the colour of the mecha and change the parts.

Just don't too many damage during the missions or else you will have to pay for the repairs.

The big green numbers is your armor/health. Once it reaches zero, you're toast.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Most of the missions in Armored Core are short, taking about less than ten minutes to complete.

The screenshots below uses 2xSal.

The textures look better, but the fonts doesn't look that great in the mecha's view screen.

I don't think linking works for any PS games on the emulators.

I know that, but the game doesn’t, it thinks it in link mode :P Look for your self. What makes it even worst is that the only emulator I’ve ever seen not have the issue is V.G.S. you name it the emulator I’ve tried most epsxe, epxeven, pcsx, adripsx, and bleem they all have that same bug. O well maybe one day some nice psx emu coder will fix the bug (I doubt it though).

The AC series is a nice series. It's one of the few mech games. Where, I could almost call it a simulation. (The one true simulation being Tekki (Steel Battalion) for xbox).

I have felt cheapen as of late with the way they are marketing the series. It's more of addon's and addon's. Then true sequals.

Agreed on that. Both points: Steel Battalion is amazing, not only through the great controller, the details and realism is stunning. Probably the only reason to get a xbox, if there were some units left, of course.

And AC its quite dissapointing with the time, though there are some new additions (first person view in AC:SL) but overall way to repetitive.
