Yup xenogears is a great game. I wish you could set the text to scroll faster though. I always found that to be one of its only weaknesses. I've played it through 3 or 4 times. I highly reccomend it. It was one of squares best psx games.

It's good to see those shots. It brings back memories. Oh, how i love to see Elhaym Van Houten and Fei Fong Wong to ride in the gears. Hmmm... I think I also like Bart's two gears (omnigear and yggdrasil in gear form). Those are cool gears.

Not necessarily. Some people cannot and will not "get" Xenogears. That's just the way the game is. One person I knew said it was a typical overhyped piece of Square garbage with boring dialogue. Granted, this is someone who misspelled every other word he wrote, but the fact remains a lot of people just won't like Xenogears for various reasons, whether it's how the plot was made, the blatant homages to various anime series/ideas, the religious issues (), or whatever else. One does not need to play anywhere near 20 hours to figure out whether Xenogears suits one's interest or not.

Well it was just my opinion. I liked it at first, but it took a good long time into the game before I realised how much I liked this game. Granted there are people out there who won't like it.... Oo

I dont advise you to do that, but you can use gameshark codes if you are really running out of options and set health and fuel to infinite :\

,..Check gamefaqs for tips and hints. I am sure they have some, since this part is the most annoying thing in this game....

That Miang fight can be tough. Alot of people get stuck there. My only advice to you is this: go into Hyperdrive mode. First of all, it shouldn't be too tough to get into hyperdrive mode, since you'll be pretty banged up from the Ramsus fight. Second, attacks in hyperdrive mode don't take much fuel but REALLY pack a punch. And third, if you recharge in hyperdrive you'll regain quite a large chunk of fuel which you can later use to heal if you have to.

heh. I got stuck at the part where you have to align the mirror. I passed that after about 10 tries with 50hp left, and 0 fuel. It's what I call a perfectly fought battle against against a greater force.

On the other hand, the last boss took me exactly 3 tries. The first was to figure out the bits, and how the fight worked, the second was my first "real" try, and the third time was the perfected form. I wasted him.

I think he is refering to the point wher you have to use barts grandfathers ship to shot at the mirror on the tower of babel to destroy one of the 4(Or was it 2) generators in order to see that floating city.
This game is great but i hate the fact that they didn't give anything to think about with the characters or story. Everything was explained down to the end and it leaves you with nothing to think about
