Dragon Warrior VII ePSXe 1.5.1

In case you didn't see them in the General section, this game has improved a lot with the newer ePSXe. Now you don't notice any black outlines around characters, and transparency works...

Well, for graphics, I'm using Pete's D3D plugin with quite a bit of advanced features enabled(I've got a 3D card, so that really helps).

I am playing through DQVII right now on epsxe, and I love every minute of it. Well, almost every minute. I have tried playing around with the settings to make the sprites crisp and clear, without the blurriness that seems to come with the settings. I am trying to take screens of all of the character sprites to modify and use in an upcoming fan made rpg I have been working on for some time. Most sprites I am using in the rpg are 32x32 (standard snes size), and I have found a great dqiv sprite set at http://www.dragon-warrior.com/Images/dq4r.gif
They are in the 32x32 format, and they are crisp and clear.. So I guess I am asking what your configuration is when you are playing DQVII. Its not exactly what I am looking for, but it is a start. Thanks.

If you're using Pete's 3d plugins you should turn all filtering off, that should get rid of the blurriness. (And turn on 2XSAI to get rid of pixelation without the blurry stuff)

Or if you use the Soft plugin you can turn on Use System Memory, but it's slow on most computers. Or you can turn on the 2XSAI/SuperEagle stuff too.

naah, I think this Battlesystem is out of date, meanwhile in modern games you have to see some of the action what is going on, I KNOW, its tradition in this series but ...
