lunar 2 sound problems

I've been trying every plugin I know but all the speech in the game stutters. The music plays just fine. what plugin should I use and how should I configure it?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but that is probably a speed problem. I've been told that emulating speech is very slow and choppy on all games. You could try imaging the CD and then play it again. That normally speeds it up.

I had the same problem when trying to use
a 3D plugin playing lunar 2. Just make an ISO
of it and run it with a software plugin (Pete's was the
one I used). Even on my lowly P3 700 I could
play it at 60 fps with no slowdowns whatsoever
and at 1024x768x32.
