Pete's OpenGL - Texture Filtering?

Has anyone had any problems enabling texture filtering? The readme said it can be trouble, but its been great for me. I usually use extended filtering +smooth sprites, unless im playing a game with lots of small text or something.
Does this option cause trouble at all?
Thanks,

If by "trouble" you mean system crashes and the likes, no it won't do that. It might cause some slowdowns and visual artifacts on the screen though (e.g. unaligned/tiled background, etc etc), depending on what game you're playing and what filtering mode you use. So just experiment, and if you like what you see, leave it at that.

As kairi00 said, the main problem will be tiled backgrounds, but since you're using smoothed sprites, you don't have to worry about that .
