Your PC must be too slow, try other graphic plugins, and also, try changing your SPU plugin settings; sometimes, misconfiguring it makes my fps drop from 200+ to 40-50

What are your PC specs?

Most commonly used plugins are:
Peops Software GPU (for 2D based game, and crappy computers)
Pete's D3D/OGL GPU (2D/3D games on decent video cards)
Pete's OGL2 GPU (same, but for better cards)

Peops SPU or Eternal SPU for sound (often it's a matter of taste for them, but with very few games, one can be better than the other)

500mhz CPU is way too slow to achieve fullspeed on psx emulators, you should upgrade your computer (though, you can try the Fast preset in the GPU plugins)

best was UNDER the fast, too, bad, still frame rate was around... 36.7 fps.

ePSXe help file says that 500 MHZ is RECOMMED prosessor speed.

ill try OLDER ePSXe, maybe some will work...

I said already and i will say it again, try SSSPSX,
I was testing PSX emulators on a K6 machine (400 mhz, 160 Mb ram, GeForce 2MX 64 mb)
and with SSSPSX i got the highest fps with same settings.

it gets old after a while when nothing i say is acknowledged. do you see how it took an enlarged font to actually get him to admit that he already did that? i asked a few times before and i never even got a response.

well, i can play this game too. if he's not going to acknowledge me, i won't acknowledge him. no skin off my teeth.
