missing shader extensions?
ok well i am using a ati radeon 9000 (lol i know i know) and i am quite new to psx emulation..but i have obtained a ff VII .iso...
for some reason when i tried to play the .img file it goes into full screen and then i get an error saying missing shader extensions... I am using gpuPeteOpenGL2.dll ..is it a problem with my vid card...and if it is what can i do to get the game to run.. |

Hello.
Hum gpuPeteOpenGL2 needs a video card compatible with shaders.(don't know exactly what versions). But what I know is that the radeon 9000 is too old to support some shaders (or does not support shaders at all;someone more leveled than me should give you a more precise answer about it). You should use Pete's opengl 1.76 plugin.sure It will solve your problem.(this plugin doesn't use shaders).Bye |

you need a DX9 capable card to run Pete's Opengl2 plugin in full glory, read my thread here
