Twisted Metal
I finally got my hands on the original "Twisted Metal" for playstaion. Well, I use my PSX 1.6 emulator more often then my ps1. Mostly because of the save files I have on memory card. Anyway, how should I configure this game?
For sound and video I'm using... Video- Pete's D3D Driver 1.75 Sound- Eternal SPU Plugin Lite 1.41 It has some troubles loading up, glitches and sounds mainly. However it's perfect when selecting cars. After you select a car and push "start"...well, it looks as though the game freaks out and just skips back to the opening video. You know, if you walk away for a few mins, it shows a demo or something. Well that's what looks like is going on here. Anyone know what I should do? I'm running Winxp, 2 gig ram, Radeon X850 XT gfx and uh...amd 2.4 ghz My other pc runs win2k, amd 1.2 ghz 256 ram and nvidia geforce mx420 |

for the good PC, try using OGL2 with the nice preset---throw in some shaders if you want. definitely use Eternal (not lite) for that.
for the crappy one, try OGL with the Nice the preset, and see how that bodes. you may want to use Eternal Lite on that one. if you're having gameplay glitches and such, try a different emulator. |
