Try it first.

I can use Ultra, but in conjunction with "Very High" on the other setting I strangely get slowdown with my X1900XT. Not to mention a few other problems.

Try it with the fastest framebuffer mode, should be supported. and supress any slowdowns.

That's actually my default setting. And btw: you're not talking to a noob here, I've tried most settings and arrangements here. It just seems like it doesn't like Very High Internal X Resolutions. The image (for example, on Parasite Eve 2's loading screen) is kind of "chopped off" to the left (as in "September" reads "eptember", if you know what I mean.)

X1xxx series now supports 4096x4096 rendering resolution, so i think it will work fine very high and ultra resolution, however some users are still having problems with it, i think it has something to do with the drivers, as posted on Pete's message boards (their discussing X1xxx series very high x/y capability there).

i tried it will final fantasy 8, theres alot of crap on the screen.

Can someone post there plugin screen?, that would be great!
