opengl 2.0 tester...much need program.
well after playing with the natural vision shader and not knowing why it wasnt working i decided i would do a little searching for a neat program that would tell me if my crappy geforce 3 could handle it..
after a good 5 mins of google searching i ran across this free program called opengl extensions viewer... this excellent program will a do a series of opengl tests to see if your card can handle opengl 2.0 if it passes tests 6 and 7 you will then know your able to use the cool shaders on this forum.. i should mention you need to have the latest directx and latest vid card drivers aswelll... this will save us all a lot of time... well enough with my useless banter get this excellent prgram here.. http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/ this post is soley aimed at those with trouble getting those shaders working.. if you find this post useful make it a sticky or something.. |

actually, ShadX's natural vision shader and some of the advanced custom shader (otherwise stated in its readme file) requires a rather newer and fast graphics cards. (support for DirectX 9 pixel and vertex shader 2.0)

i'm assuming you mean a GEForce MX440 and the answer is no. it's not good for the OGL2 plugin anyway (afaik from experience)
