Problem with framerate in FF9 (too fast)
ePSXe config:
-Running on ePSXe 1.5.2 -Eternal SPU 1.4.1 sound plugin -SaPu's CD-ROM Plugin 1.0 -Pete's DX6 CPU specs: -Running on WinXP on Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop, 512 mb RAM...standard fare, basically. The problem is that when I select a half-decent graphics plugin, like the one listed above, FF9 runs at crazy-fast speeds and I can't see the dialog boxes in battle. If I use PEOpS Soft Driver 1.15, it works fine, but the graphical output is pretty bad. I've tried fiddling with the framerate and the CD plugin, but with no luck. Anyone got a solution? Thanks! |

EDIT: I thought it was perfect, but now the ATB/battle menu flickers kind of in battle.
EDIT #2: I also notice that with some of the superior graphics plugins (the ones I'm hoping to use), there are black lines covering some of the backdrops. For example, in Alexandria the shingles of the houses are all outlined heavily in black! EDIT #3: Can somebody just tell me what graphical plugin and configuration settings work optimally for THEM for FF9? Last edited by Trapspringer; July 23rd, 2006 at 03:42. |
