Controller not working

I have PSXeven working good, game loads up ok. I am not able to config my controller in the config menu for the program itself. Do I need a plugin? When I click on the button to assign a joystick button to it the joystick doesnt work. I know m joystick works in other games (pc). I have a Logitech Wingman Wireless controller with Analog, also a Microsoft Sidewinder basic 4 button joy, none of them work.

yeah, for all PSX emulators except ePSXe you need a pad plugin. i recommend the Harakiri pad plugin, you can get it at www.ngemu.com/psx
