FF8 probleme :(

hi all
whene i launch the game, it is blocked in world map, especially when i makes a zoom, if not at the end of the battle, at the time of the parade the music goes on but nothing occurs after the characters remains on their places
i would like to inform you that i have P4 3 Ghz with 512 of memory and graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 4000.
i used the two epsxe version 1.5.2 and 1.6.0 i also all the pete's plugin
- d3d driver 1.76
- peops soft driver 1.17
- dx6 d3d driver 1.76
- OGL driver 1.76
- OGL Driver2 2.7
all this plugins goes through psx emulation cheater 2.5

have you checked out www.lordkane.co.uk , there is a great FF8 config there. do you have problems not using PEC?
