my ePSXe shuts down when i try to play games

when i put in my game disc and go to "file" "run CDROM" ePSXe shuts down and windows gives me a "report this to microsoft" screen

what plugins are you using? what are your computer's specs? does this happen with a different emulator or a different CD pluign?

i just put in the "cdrmooby2.dll" and the ePSXe doesnt crash but i still dont know how to play game

ok well mooby's plugin is for loading ISO images, are you playing off an image?

you're going to need graphics and sound plugins, what are your computer specs, i'll recommend you some plugins.

i was able to get the game(final fantasy vii) working but when i go to new game the video is really slow and choppy and there is no noise

Video- Pete's D3D Driver 1.76
Sound-ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.
Cdrom-ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

again i ask, what are your computer's settings? that will help to pick better plugins and determine correct settings.

I have a windows 98 with 255MB of RAM
Intel Celeron Processor 500MHz
96 MB SDRAM
17GB hard drive
