Pete OGL problem w/ Street Fighter Collection 2
Haven't played for years, just dug out some old games and found a problem already
![]() Street Fighter Collection 2: The player's life bar is screwed up in Pete's OGL and OGL2 plugins, see screenies. I tried maximizing the "compatibility" stuff (frame buffer etc) but no help. Yes I have tried Peops Soft, and it doesn't have this problem, but there are many mmm quirks about it.
Firstly, it's very slow at this resolution. I know it sounds unnecessary to use high resolution, but it isn't. Because Capcom uses a weird ratio (irregular pixels), it gets a lot of pixel inconsistency when the screen is "stretched" to fill a resolution not much higher than the source. Also the default stretching method is quite blurry, and the other methods are simply distortions to my eyes. And of course it's always easier not to have to switch plugins for different games ![]() In any case I just kinda wished there was a fix I didn't know about, otherwise perhaps Pete would have something to say. BTW, there's also another problem in Blanka's background, where one of the sprites had a wrong brightness or something, so it looked out of place. I'll post more shots...

Yes I tried the latest OGL and OGL2 plugins, same result.
And yes about offscreen drawing too, which was included when I maximized "compatibility" stuff. Just for your curiosity, I made a screenshot of Peops soft using Aldo's screen cap (F8 doesn't do it "properly"). As you can see, compared to OGL2 the problem is gone but the picture is way blurrier For some reason tho, I didn't experience the slow down this time, so forget I said that...Plugin: P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.1.17 Author: Pete Bernert and the P.E.Op.S. team Resolution/Color: - 1152x864 Fullscreen - [32 Bit] Stretch mode: 0 Dither mode: 0 Framerate: - FPS limit: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: Auto Misc: - Scanlines: disabled - Game fixes: on [00000002]
