Then whatever you do, don't try my config.

Glad to see you got it working though, enjoy it.

yeah, your videocard is total and utter crap.

you can try Pete's D3D, no guarantees there though. you will be able to get it to work with peops software GPU, but....it's software.

OGL2 cell shading(in GLSL) in FF9 looks nice too, somewhat an image change.

take some screenshots and post em, along with your settings, if you dont mind. it's always helpful to see someone else's config and what it looks like.

here:
will post battle screens later as well as OGL2 config(forgot to bring it, dont have internet at home now ), depending on the intensity level of the shader, the thicker the black border, giving it a comic look.

OT:
but just for some more idea, i tried it too on Chrono Cross
(compressed images,sorry)

the only dowside is that some texts are a bit blurry and some of the textured windows are weird.

afaik, i used these settings on OGL2 (ePSXe 1.5.2)
i used guest's (from pete's forums) cartoon shader OGL 2GLSL

yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. shaders are funny for giggles, but i cant imagine playing an entire game like that.

i think thats the actual framerate, but the emulator is running mostly at 100% (59.9 FPS or sumthin), with those framerate.
