Questions for Pete

Hi! sorry to bother you...

I searched in the readme but I didn't find out what was the use of certain game fixes, so I put the list above, and if you have a little time, you could tell what it is for, thanks:

-Direct frame buffer updates (I don(t really know what it is, butI noticed some speedups in MDECS, though)

-Disable Coord Check

-Use low-res fps timer (what are the buggy chipset? VIAs?)

hmmm, that's all

Thank you again

in the 1.52 notes is a link to a Microsoft site, where buggy chipsets are listed

Thanks, I'll take a look

EDIT: The link is dead... it redirects me to the MS's "this page doesn't exists" page

>>A machine's PCI components are identified by a PCI identifier within the following key in the Windows registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\P CI

I don't have the Enum folder in my reg, WTF ????

EDIT:

I found that:

PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_0686&SUBSYS_00001106&REV_22\BUS_0 0&DEV_07&FUNC_00

1106:0686, it's in the list of buggy chipsets I'm fishy
