Texture embossing pixel shader for Next3D

Looks nice without any extra memory requirements!

It should as it only needs pixel shader v1.1 to work, which is the highest that the GeForce 3 offers

The embossing in Tails looks more prominent than the Spyro(?) one. Colors looks much more vibrant too.

Amazing, truly amazing. I am stunned by the improve quality of the images. The emboss pictures seem to be of next-gen quality. I'm sure the results would be even more impressive if texture filtering were on.

Nickk, since you were able to add this effect, how hard would it be to add a similar such as bump mapping? I can't imagine it to be too hard since this embossing technique is similar to bump map. And since bump map is native to most gf unlike pixel shaders, alot more people can enjoy your work. Also I think the possibilities of enhancing textures with bump maps can add a whole new dimension to psx games. I would love to see metal gear solid or silent hill with bump map on. Those games would look close to their ps2 counterparts I imagine.
