GPU Plugin for R9700pro

What GPU plugin will I need for my Radeon 9700Pro?
So far I have the SCPH 7502 bios and then I was asked for a GPU plugin. Are there any more plugins that I will need?

Pete's OpenGL or Pete's D3D are your best choices. If you go the OpenGL way make sure you enable the Subtractive Blending special game fix.

What fixes? where do I get them and how do I use them?
So much to learn so little time.

I just tried FF8 and when I tried to start a new game nothing happened it said error reading from cd-rom when I exited the program.

How do I get FF7 to work?

Hey thanks man,
I made an ISO of FF8 disk 1 and it works!
I am experiencing some short pauses but Im sure if I muck around with the graphics settings it will run good.
