Hey just wondering if any one can help me at the beginning of xenogears when the ship crashes you cant hear any one talk and when the village is burning after that scene when the screen looks like it shatters it just stays black im using epsxe

Video Plugin: Pete's DX6 Driver 1.68
Sound plugin: Pete's Dsound Audio Driver 1.15

Can any one help me out?

And my site says

If you want full effects (Battle Swirls, burning villages, etc), you have 2 options:

• Set Framebuffer textures to 2 and set Framebuffer access to 3, or
• If you have FSAA on, set Framebuffer textures to 0, set Framebuffer access to 4.

There's no voice acting in Xenogears.

Yeah, except during MDECs...
but if you have probs with those sequence and you dn't want to change settings, use the Peops soft GPU

I've set my every thing according to your site and i can see the burning village now but when the screen shatters it still stays black and all i can hear is the music.

is this normal?

Try changing the Offscreen drawing level, BTW, I don't recall my settings for this game, so don't blame me if I'm wrong

This sounds like a problem with CD reading....
Have you triued making an ISO image? it often helps.
