Dragon Warrior 7 and 3D plugs vs soft

Has any been able to successful play DW7 on any of the 3D plugs? I have voodoo5, using both Lewpy's and Pete's 3D plugs. They crash in the title screen and the in-game menu screen. I got around the problem using PEOPs plug, though.

Anyone else out there?

What you mean it crash ? it crashes emulator ? I think problem is in your graphic card driver, not a problem with plugin.Since it work with software plugin and not with accelerated ones,it looks like its graphic card related.

Maybe its the driver (i'm kinda doubtful). I use Voodoo5 with Omega Drivers FYI. It doesn't crash the computer, it only crashes epsxe. So if anyone else using 3Dfx card and has this game, let me know.

Hmm...odd...possibly a driver issue...the only fix needed by DW7 with accelerated plugins is the Lazy Upload fix (not sure if Lewpy has it or needs it)..this however has no impact on the boot up sequence...

thats kinda weird ,.......maybe you should try using software plugins and see for yourself,..if the emulator crashs, then it should be a bug in the emu you are suing, otherwise, the problem might be in the plugin itself

Fixed it with both Pete's and Lewpy's. For Pete's plug, I'm not sure how I fixed it...

For Lewpy's plug, I didn't realize I need to set the offscreen mode to "full".

Thanks for the help guys.
