Hello everyone, I'm at college and I didn't bring my PSX/2 with me...so I needed an emulator...no...<i>the</i> emulator. After installing ePSXe 1.5.0, 'configuring' the BIOS, and popping in my FF7 disc 1, the DOS prompt says that

*Running ePSXe emulator version 1.5.0
*Memory handlers init.
*ePSXe BIOS Loaded [C:\Windows\...\scph1001.bin]
*Error loading [plugins\cdrPeteAspi.dll]

Just what is this .dll file, and what does it do?

Oh yeah, and can someone tell me how to acquire it? Thanks in advance.

it's pete's aspi cdr plugin. get epsxe 1.5.2 and it'll come with integrated sound and cd-rom support, for gfx use pete's (unless u use a 3dfx card, use lewpy's)

what the heck? Your using epsxe 1.50? why aren't ya using 1.52?

That is a old bug. In V 1.5 epsxe cannot run properly if it is located within a folder with a space in its name, eg c:\program files. That bug is fixed in that later versions, so I suggest you do what Mog has suggested and download that latest.
