Experimental Flipping Request

Request to my plugin users

I am after a quick list of games that have problems if "Experimental Flipping" is enabled in my plugin. If you could post any games you know of that don't work with Experimental Flipping, that would be very handy.
I want to reverse my investigations: find those games that don't work with Experimental Flipping, and see if I can get them to work with it; rather than try to get those that currently require it, to work without it.

Note: in the next version of my plugin, I will more than likely rename the Experimental Flipping option to something that more closely describes what it actually does!

Actually, I just use "Experimental Flipping" for FF7 and FF8. I always disable that for any other game. But I will try testing some games with that on, and report to you.

Thats weird... I tested 32 games with Experimental Flipping on, but found no problems. I'm sorry if I couldn't be of any help.

Maybe it was 'cause no one found any problem. I never had any.

How about something like "Buffer Flipping Detection"?

Straight and to the point, eh?

O.T. - psicomaniaco, you might want to tone down the sexuality of your avatar/sig. there are people here who get offended by that.

Wow this thread still alive?
Well so far Lewpy your plugin is working.. I think what might have been the problem for the plugin was registry settings.. only thing I can think of. <heh eons ago it wasn't doing anything save having mysterious crashes>
Anyhow I must have done something to clear up the registry information acidentally and it works (sigh). Not helpful to prevent it from happening I guess

As for your buffer draw detection seems to work fine on all games..

I do experience some flickering menus on FFT and CC with 'Experimental Flipping' on, but only when 'Pure Software' is disabled. With this option enabled the flickering is gone. Otherwise, both games run fine. Hope this is helpful somehow.
