Which is more accurate?

System specs and epsxe info in sig

I was messing with plugins and decided to give Eternal's a try, and after activationg the Square fix in Eternal's spu config I fired it up...

Some of the sounds are different compared with the Internal SPU... but whicch plugin is better?

This is with Final Fantasy IX but I'm also curious about:

BoF4
FFVII
FFVIII

...so which plugin is more accurate?

AFAIK, Eternal 1.3 has the best quality on most game, and work the best on FF games, make sure you have the FF game fix checked. Not sure about BoF4.

I think Eternal is the way to go. Generally I find that with the Internal SPU a lot more sound effects sound wrong or out of place - with Eternal it's not as bad, so I would recommend that.

I have BOF4 and eternal is the best for it. In Ryu or Fou-Lu transformation, every plugin and even internal SPU has some problem with it. But those who doesn't have a PSX or never play it with PSX will not notice it.

Thanks!
I say go with what you think sounds better: You might get adjusted to something totally incorrect in what it was supposed to sound like yet more beutiful and of higher quality~

Oh yes dont mention about you not owning a system- let's just say you uploaded the BIOS from a friends PSX and you are borrowing it or something...yeah....

Yes, because owning a bios without a real system is illegal. Btw, I have one in case if you want to know. So for me it is legal

in my system, if i'm not using eternal, ryu & fou-lu's transformation voice cuts off/ broken speech. eternal plays it flawlessly.
