Sapu has some problems whit XA sound, try the best Pete's SPU, for me that one is the best and the fastest

I use Pete's CDR, but all CDR plugins give me similar performance (Sapu, Pete's, Xeven, Internal). I think it can't get much faster than this, if you really need a speedup when loading the game, making an ISO is the best choice.

I thinks pete's slightly faster with all those options.

I use the internal plugin without any slowdowns, errors etc.
