Don't know where to put this but Pete's Open GL 1.61 crashes my Chrono Cross...

So just to let you guys know... it might be my computer but it could be affecting some other people. I don't know where to put this so if you guys could help me spread the word... PeteGPU open gl 1.61 crashes my Chrono Cross now... whenever there appears to be 3d polygon's rendered it'll crash... ie. opening screen with the fishes swimming around... or when you load where it begains rendering 3d stuff... okay that's all... let me know if there's crucial information Im' leaving out... I've tried messing with *some* of the settings... but I don't really know how to tweak it so there you go. Thanks.

Computer specs and plugin settings?

edit nevermind found them in your profile

The problem is that you own a Kyro II card. There are serious display problems on cards of this type.

yeah i know... i regret it now... it was a good card... it has the same amount of problems as with any video card but the problems are less likely fixable...

so I'm guessing there's nothing I can do about 1.61? I'll go back to 1.60 then... and hope the next release doesn't hurt.

use Pete's DX6 D3D plugin. I have a 3D prphet 4000XT 64mb PCI Card and it works almost flawless.

Okay now I feel like an idiot. I had it on D3D and it was crashing my system... it runs a lot better for me in Open GL. I didn't know when I updated Pete's plugins it changed to D3D for some reason. I'll try to get D3d to work too because sometimes when it does work it runs really well. Thanks for the help everyone.

What do you mean 'it was a good card'? It's still the greatest budget card! The only thing it sucks is the D3D plugin in ePSXe. Almost all OpenGL plugin works, but too slow for 640x480 FSAA 4X.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kyro is EVIL!!!! I cheered and danced around and celebrated for a week when my Kyro died. I was happy to go back to my good old TNT. That is saying a LOT. I might still be able to get my money back on the warantee though... I need to get that one going.

Riiiiight. I don't believe that for a second, coparing Ninja's rantings with the amount of rantings from GeForce 3 users.
