Found two bugs with Pete's d3d plugin

I have really been busy last few days with all the testing stuff.Ok thats not the topic here.

Coming to the topic I hope pete reads this.

1.I am facing some strange graphic glitches with pete's d3d 1.6 version especially with mdecs.Infact if I am not mistaken its the same bug (screwed up transparency mode)which existed in pete's 1.56 version and forced pete to release 1.56b.

Note: dx6d3d version is working fine so I think it exists with d3d plugin only.

2.Pete's d3d plugin(including all the older versions) doesnt seem to work well in R5G5B5A1[good colors] showing strange graphic problems (also discussed here)http://www.ngemu.com/forums/newreply...threadid=16547

At first i thought it was due to intel 810 chipset but today I noticed that dx6d3d plugin doesnt show that problem.

I hope it helps.

And here is the second bug(which exists in all previous versions of d3d plugin as well). When using R5G5B5A1 colors the health bar screws up (its only an example ,other games show other errors).

Surprisingly dx6d3d plugin works fine with R5G5B5A1 colors .

Try turning on screen smoothing option and see if it still works fine.

yup, thats what I think too, some of the background on Resident Evil 3, dont work right but only on Pete D3D, but in DX6 work great, is just that the acceleration of my card is just better whit DX6 ;P

mmm... why am I talking of this anyway...

One thing I have found is that the OpenGL plugin will not play the Medal of Honor 2 MDECs. It will play them, but they skip, and are basically unpleasant to watch. The D3D plugins do not have that problem.
