Pete..Question regarding fixes and new DETs

We were curious as to know whether or not the FSAA / Subtractive Blending fix is still required with the new official Detonator releases?

Well the nVidia FSAA fix anyways....heh

you can give that stock to me

you can either love nvidia or hate nvidia, but face it you don't have much choice when it comes to video cards these days, and dispite how you feel, nvidia has much better developed drivers when compared to ati, or s3. The only other choice is to go back to the drivers you were happiest with if it bothers you so much.

those new ones seem to be a little bit slower for me (gf2mx), so I switched back to the 27.40 beta's...I think those were about the fastest.

Hmm

Bah..no worries....Pete's fix handles it well...we were just curious...hahaha...You are right about ATI though....Pete has had that subtractive Blending fix in there for some time....

The new Dets seem to give us the same overall performance....so no complaints here.....

I like to stick with ASUS manufactured products (like my graphics card and motherboard) cause they make good drivers for their products. I'm using the newest ASUS display drivers instead of the detonator drivers... I've had less bugs, and the newest det drivers don't work with my ASUS Live TV program.

I'm one of the few with an ATI Radeon. Did they fix the bug in their newst drivers? (Posted this past week). However, I've never really noticed what exactly the bug is. Anybody wanna fill me in on that?
