GT2 mode GT (XA CDDA)

hi all, I made an effort with google (English)
well, I was playing Gran Turismo 2 on ePSXe 1.7.0, I put the sound on plugin ePSXe SPU core 1.7.0
and it's great because it takes no resource (CPU = 0%) in the games I have adjust the volume
the music to 0, and race (SE) of 8 or 10, but the problem it and in the menus, I have no music and
in the race I had more music volume = 10, during the race, I need concentration
I must listen the motor of the car, the other plugin it do the work for remove XA and CDDA, but it takes a lot of PC resources (CPU = 100%)
would you have a solution please, to the contrary, exemple in menus with music, in race without music

the tool PsxMC301 extact the music in CD, but does not remove, perhaps in the compression but with what tool? and how?
Yesterday, I found a small solution with pSX_1_13, but the image quality is not good(CPU 0 or 5%) and no music in race, I prefer ePSXe for image quality
