PEC Doesnt show up

well like the title says the PEC plugin option doesnt shop up on my emulator (ePSXe 1.7.0 nor my 1.6.0) ive tried various things such as renaming the plugins in the pec folder or clicking them and dragging it onto my emulator and i just cant seem to figure it out

Ive been trying to run it for Xenogears but everything i do doesnt seem to work for me

i was hopping someone could shed some light on my situation

my xenogears is NTSC and ive followed the directions closely and ive looked around on these forums for a bit to see if anyone else was having the same problem.

i saw one thread that had the same problem but he doesnt say how he fixed it so i was like uhh gg

yes it does show up in the ePSXe plugins folder

ive actually grinded like a maniac so i dont really need to cheat anymore but fixing it would probably still help me if i ever need it in the future.
