Memory card problem

I have been playing Front Mission 3 on pSX 1.12 and I am tired of the constant crashes, so I am trying to convert the .bin memory card to ePSXe's format to continue my game on it, but there seems to be no programs that can handle a psx memory card in .bin format. I tried loading states, switching to my ePSXe memory card, and saving the game there, but it seems that when you load a a state, it loads the saved memory card status rather than the actual one. I also tried copying the game from the .bin card in the PSX boot screen, but the .bin card never shows. I am at a loss here, and I can't progress through the game as it keeps crashing in battle.

Anyone know how to deal with this?

ePSXe supports has exactly the same memcard format than pSX, Just point to the pSX memcards and you're done.
