Can't map keyboard keys to controller config

I don't why there are some keyboard keys that I'm unable to map to the emulators controller config. Keys like "A" and "D".

Is this normal or there is some kind of fix for this problem?

It's a known problem for pSX 1.11. There is no fix atm. I suggest you use pSX 1.10 instead.

Switching back to an older version (permanently, until the next version) just because of a simple configuration problem certainly is silly, especially considering the fact that it's already been addressed before.

Why is that silly? It's just a simple bug, and it's going to be fixed in an upcoming version. Seems pretty normal to me.

And that's exactly why :o For such a simple bug that's easily worked around, you end up ditching full screen aspect ratio correction and centered frame buffers. But I guess reverting to 1.10 sounds silly to me because I'm actually a fan of those changes in 1.11 :P

Unless you have an ancient Athlon and it crashes on you, then you're stuck with 1.10!

Meh, look at ePSXe 1.5.2 to 1.6.0, a lot of stuff happened in there.

At least give credit to the guy for at least noticing it, being aware of it, fixing it, and promising to fix it

Well, at least it's a really tiny problem, eh? One of the few problems v1.11 has that other versions don't (VERY few...). And fixing it being a simple matter of opening psx.ini in Notepad and changing a couple number values... it *almost* doesn't even qualify as a problem, but merely a feature requiring a slightly longer method to configure.

Sometimes it's nice to just look at the brighter side of things. Especially when there's nothing really negative to look at. v1.5.2 vs v1.6.0...? I don't think I even wanna *touch* that topic... <.< >.>

I've never heard of a simple way to fix the crashing on old Athlons, in fact I haven't seen an update in some time regarding that issue?.
