That's what you think. I guess you didn't bother to actually read the FAQ section, otherwise you wouldn't still be saying that. If you want to continue complaining, then:
1) Try playing it on a television (connecting your computer to the TV), or 2) Try playing the PlayStation on your computer's monitor (directly via some converter, or using a TV tuner). If it still doesn't look similar, then complain. Until then, stop making these assumptions. Enough people have tested it in either case to be able to say that pSX is doing a fair job at accurate emulation. If you care so much about enhancing the graphics, then pSX (in its current state) isn't for you, so just follow the suggestion at the end of at FAQ you quoted (which is the exact same thing as Shendo's suggestion). |

I don't think they have
Anyway Playstation was optimized for television not VGA monitors, so there is a noticable difference when you using the 2 video outputs, and take into consideration the distance you would sit from a television set in comparison to a PC monitor.

right.
same when playing PSX games on the PS2, it decrease the resolution to standart PSX resolution. and it looks bad on PC monitors when the PS2 is connected via S-video on TV-card

I'm really looking forward to see the real TV look emulated with pSX.
Some creativity is required...i think a special resize to PAL/NTSC res. and then a nice resize to the today's prefered LCD full resolution would do. We musn't forget the slight dot matrix/scanlines effect. It's true LCD's interpolate for example from 720x576 to fullscreen but the algorithm involved isn't customisable. Look's average on cheaper models. Edit: I wrote an example of how the TV resize (1.st stage) might look cool. It's neither a point neither a lienar resize. Something in between.
