FF8, CD3, game stop space station

[Sorry for my grammar. Im not so good at english. ]

Hello,
This is a very strange problem, and I dont know what it is related to.
In Final Fantasy 8, on CD3, there is a scene where you can see a video about the "tear of the moon". Squall is standing at a window watching, together with two scientists. After that video, something strange happend: I could not move my character any more. He was just standig there. However, the game was NOT hung up. The characters still showed their motion animations. I waited for a few minutes, but it just stayed like that.
Is there anyone who also has encountered this problem?

Here are my configuations:
Final Fantasy 8 for Play Station, german version, running with .ccd-images.
Emulator PSX 1.10
AMD Athlon 64 2800+, 1028MB RAM, NVidia GF 7600GS

It is especially strange because the game has run almost PERFECTLY up to that point (except that the graphics were very pixelated, or whatever).

According to the pSX compatibility list:

Quote:
Battle transition effect problems; Minor stuttering during FMV's and at some points during game play; Disc 3: Game often hangs after on the space station after the "Lunar Cry" FMV.
So all I can suggest you is to try another emulator.

P.S: There is a pSX section....this emulator as you surely noticed doesn't use plugins.

Just put your memory card into ePSXe, pass that point, save, and put the memory card back in to pSX.

Agreed... we've all come across that problem (which is about as random as the MML problem), but those who get it can't get past it. ePSXe is your only solution to get past it. Luckily the save point is right there, eh?
