Anyone Pls Help

Hello i Was playing Chrono cross but when i started a new game and the next thing happend the screen was black and i waited severeal minutes but it didint continue......is this problem with the game or with the emulator pls tell me

I assume you are using ePSXe 1.6.0 though you posted in pSX section...
Use ePSXe 1.5.2 to play the game.
