trouble with gamepad configuration

hello!
have some problems with the configuration of my gamepad.
pSX has configuerd my gamepad like that: my game-pad up-arrow selected with the virtual down arrow,my game-pad left-arrow with the virtual right arrow and so on...
i can't change these settings by clicking in the boxes in the selceting-menue and i don't know why...
can anybody help me?

fixed that problem...

now i've git another prob: when i play tekken III f.e. than i can play one round (two fights) an in the lil ending film the prog doesn't work anymore but keeps on standing on that picture and sound...

can anybody help me?

This is a known problem with the game, which you would've known had you checked the compatibility list, which is mentioned in the FAQ that you should've read first. There is no way to fix it. You'll have to play it in ePSXe or on the real hardware (or on another working PS1 emulator of your choice).
