MGS error

MGS stutters when I play, and it records "eek! samplestoriq=0" in the background at the start and when it has a big fit of stuttering, what does it mean and how can i fix it?

Which pSX version are you using, and what region is your game from?

According to pSX compatibility list:

Alert sound, once triggered, won't stop until you die and then you get a "eek! samplestoirq=0" error

But this error has been recorded with the 1.3 version of the emu....
Anyway if you can't get rid of this issue, And as I don't really know how to fix it....I suggest you to try ePSXe.

I would honestly suggest another emulator and this config.
