Changing CDs

Hello, recently I got the game Final Fantasy 7, and it comes in three discs. Now I've never played games with multiple discs so I'm not good at this kind of thing... how would you make the transition from the 1st disc to the 2nd disc? I mean you'd first of all have to complete all of the game of the first disc, but then when you load the second disc how would you load your old profile that you completed the first disc with? I hope I made sense , thanks in advancce.

Hello Kazekage and welcome to ngemu forums.
1- Do not bump thread like this in the future, you are in a forum not in a chat room.
2- You didn't read this sticky? Just a quote from:

Q. I have this game that spans multiple discs... how do I switch to the next disc after I'm done with one?
A. Try the following...

* When you are at the "Insert Disc" prompt, you first go to file menu and select the "Eject CD" command.
* Next (if running by images or using multiple drives skip this sentence) change the disc in the physical/virtual drive.
* Now go to the file menu and select "Insert CD Drive" or "Insert CD Image" and then select the second disc as if you were going to start a game.
* Wait for the game to detect the new disc or press the button displayed on the screen to continue.

you can save the game, it asks before disc changes.
then just quit the whole emu, and start it with disc 2...load your save. done.

But note that must be a memory card save not a quicksave.

Actually, you can do whatever you want. You can use a savestate if you want... hell, you don't even have to save if you're just continuing to the next disc right away!

What you people have to remember here, is that pSX acts like a real Playstation when it comes to multiple disc games. "Eject CD" and "Insert CD Drive/Image" work just the same as opening and closing the lid of a real Playstation.
