cue files are created with your *.bin file (the iso iself).
cue files contain data how your bin was created, mode and format.

if there is a cue file, open it in notepad and enter the proper .bin name to match your image.
if not, put this in notepad - just change the xxxx.bin to match with your image and save it in the same directory where your bin file is.

Code:
FILE "FF7.BIN" BINARY
  TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
if this is not working something is messed up. i can load bin files without cue files into epsxe. if you dont know how you created your isos - piracy is not supportet

ah yeah, what is psxfin.exe ???

It's pSX's executable file.

@fearednerd: that's not actually an error message; it's just saying the emulator wasn't able to find a .cue file, possibly because you didn't select the .cue file while loading (i.e. loaded the .bin file, assuming you have a .bin/.cue image) or your image files aren't .bin/.cue files.

Does it actually stop you from playing the game correctly? Or is it just an error? Because if it's just an error with no consequences then......fuggedaboutit

cuebin: Seems to be MODE1/2048
Regardless of whether the game works or not, you should definitely *NOT* be using images ripped like that. Rip them to ccd/img/sub using Alcohol 52% if you need a free, easy solution. But whatever you do, *don't* rip just the user data. Rip the whole disc raw.
