Saga Frontier Saving/Loading Problems

I just recently started using pSX v1.10 and I tried loading up Saga Frontier. First I tried loading a save I had from ePSXe but the game just hangs at the loading screen. I don't mean hangs as in freezes completely, I mean the game is still running (the character on the screen is moving) but I can't do anything, like the controls aren't responding. I hope I explained that good enough. After I tried that I removed that memory card and created a new one. Even though I had nothing to load, it still did the same thing. Then I tried starting a new game and saving. Same thing happened. I tried other games and they work perfectly fine.

Is anyone else having the same problems? I don't necessarily need the current saves I have, I just want the ability to save and load in that game.

any help or suggestions would be grand. Thanks.

Hello Keatz0r and welcome to Ngemu forums.

According to the compatiblity list of pSX:
Quote:
SaGa Frontier : Memcard slot 1 doesn't work, use memcard slot 2
