Question PSX is free right?

on the page of forum for epsxe and other emulator thet say 'discuss the "free" emulator...' but they did not say psx is free.... im wondering if this means i got charged money from downloading psx...

The psx isn't free. the epsxe is a emulation of the psx that can also run psx games, but it requires the psx bios. This bios can only be obtained by retrieveing it from the psx itself, there is a guide on how to do this.

THis way you must have both the game and the psx to run it, but the emulator is still free to get.

pcsx didn't need bios for some game. It had HLE bios.

yeah, one of the versions of PCSX. AdriPSX too. pity they weren't developed further....

Bleem and VGS don't need the BIOS, but then again, you have to pay for those.
